Dordon's NewsNorth Warwickshire Local Plan consultationThe public consultation of the North Warwickshire Borough Council review of the Local plan ends on the 16th of January 2026.
This consultation has far reaching consequences for Dordon and its community. Please fill out the consultation forms 1 and 2 with your views. These forms can be found on our news page We realise that the forms can be lengthy and on some subjects complicated, but you do not need to fill in the whole form, just the subjects you want to express your opinions on. Dordon Parish Council have set aside two sessions to give advice or assistance with the forms. If you need help or advice then session one will be on Saturday 10th January 2026 at Dordon Village Hall between 2pm and 4pm. Session two will be on Monday 12th January 2026, 11am and 1pm at the Village Hall. New Deputy Mayor is Dordon Councillor!
Many congratulations to Dordon's own Parish and Borough Councillor Davina Ridley, who has been elected as the new Deputy Mayor for North Warwickshire Borough!
This is an historic moment, as, together with the new Mayor, Councillor Debbie Bates, this is the very first time in the history of the Borough that both positions have been held by women! The Village Hall Calendar |

Sadly, the Dordon Community Café will not go ahead today, Friday 9th January, due to the weather conditions.
The next community cafe meal will be on Friday 13th February.
Dordon Village Hall can be hired out for regular groups and classes, and for special occasions. For details on hiring the hall click here.
