Dordon Community Shop
Please use our Community Shop!
Our Community Shop looks amazing in its new home in the old meeting room. There are regular deliveries of fresh goods and baked goods. At present, we do have lots available and left at the end of each session so please come and use it and encourage people you know who are finding things tough at the moment to give us a visit.
The opening times are:
Monday 12-2pm
Thursday 5-8pm
Friday 2-4pm
At present the shop has a lot of tinned sardines so we have linked to a recipe from Jack Monroe for breakfast sardines which is very cheap and easy to make. This is for Debbie our Hall Facilitator who volunteers in the shop.
Also at the moment we have a lot of bread available! Click here to see some great ideas for meals using bread from the Frugal Navy Wife website!

The Dordon Community Shop has a new home!
19/07/2021
We are delighted that the Community Shop which is a much needed resource in our village has a new home.
The shop is now based in the old meeting room just off the hub at the back of the village hall.
Volunteers have worked hard to create a better facility for customers.
As you can see from the pictures below, the shop is well stocked with new deliveries every week.
The shop is open on Monday 12pm until 2pm and Friday 1pm until 3pm.
Hopefully, this will be a help to those who are in need and struggling financially.
We would like the shop to create zero waste so please don’t be shy - the fresh food has to go!
Please encourage anyone you know who is finding it hard to make ends meet to come and use
the shop.
